About this work

Openly Christian. Carefully sourced. Built for serious study.

Standing on Scripture exists to defend historic Christianity, examine Islamic claims, and help Christians understand the biblical, historical, and logical case with clarity and confidence. It does not claim religious neutrality.

Editorial standard

Accuracy by design

No research process makes error impossible. This one reduces avoidable error by exposing the source trail, the wording level, and the limits of the claim.

Primary sources first

Claims are anchored in identified biblical, Quranic, hadith, historical, or scholarly sources rather than social-media repetition.

Representative objections

Objections are editorial summaries, not attributed quotations or claims about what every Muslim believes. Islamic interpretations differ.

Translation clarity

The site identifies translations and editions where practical and flags places where numbering, wording, or grading differs.

Graded confidence

Strong arguments, nuanced inferences, disputed interpretations, and open questions are not presented with the same certainty.

Transparent attribution

Site synthesis, paraphrase, direct quotation, and an apologist’s recurring approach are kept visibly distinct.

Context over clips

A video may help demonstrate a method, but essential arguments are stored in the site and do not depend on a link remaining online.

AI-assisted development

Standing on Scripture was developed with AI-assisted research, drafting, design, and website development. AI is not treated as a theological or historical authority. Substantive claims are evaluated against the Bible, Quran, hadith collections, historical materials, published scholarship, and the public work of cited Christian apologists.

Independent project

Standing on Scripture is not operated, sponsored, approved, or officially endorsed by any apologist, ministry, publisher, or religious organization referenced here unless explicitly stated. Attribution does not mean an individual originated every argument or that the site endorses every statement, position, or behavior of that person.

Sources & translations

Biblical, Quranic, hadith, tafsir, historical, and scholarly sources are identified by reference and translation whenever practicable. Translations, numbering systems, authenticity classifications, and interpretations may differ. Readers should examine each passage in full context and consult the cited edition.

Respectful engagement

The site critiques truth claims and source interpretations, not the dignity of Muslims. Use these materials to understand, ask careful questions, and bear faithful Christian witness—not to harass, stereotype, humiliate, or provoke people.

Corrections

Standing on Scripture is committed to truth, accuracy, and fair representation. Documented concerns about a quotation, citation, attribution, translation, or factual statement should identify the exact page and a primary or scholarly source. Confirmed errors will be corrected transparently when a public correction channel is active.
