Jesus’ crucifixion is among the best-attested facts of his life. Paul’s letters and the Gospel traditions are first-century, with 1 Corinthians 15 preserving an even earlier summary of Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, and appearances. Tacitus later confirms that Christus was executed under Pontius Pilate. Quran 4:157 comes roughly six centuries afterward and does not identify who, if anyone, was substituted.
